My Story

I received my BEng in Food Science and Engineering from South China Agricultural University. Driven by a passion for the natural sciences, I later completed a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with research focused on the gene regulatory network of abiotic stress resistance in Brassica napus. I am especially interested in integrating bioinformatics, computational biology, and experimental approaches in plant science research. While waiting to start my PhD, I worked full-time as a Business Development Associate at a nationwide chemical brand. I firmly believe that embracing diverse life experiences provides fresh perspectives and inspiration for scientific research. In June 2025, I joined Batley's Lab as a PhD student and continued to focus on plant sciences. Outside of work, I’m a dedicated sports enthusiast, beyond regular basketball and badminton games, I’ve been actively training in rock climbing and enjoy the challenge it brings.
